OTSEGO -
A middle-aged woman is dead after a fatal head-on collision on M-89 near Dix Street near Otsego this evening.
State police say the crash is still under investigation, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. Clean-up lasted about 4 and 1/2 hours, with the road reopening around 10:00 p.m.
The woman had to be extracted from the vehicle she was driving and was take to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the semi wasn't injured. State Police say no citations were given on scene.
