Two people at an Ionia County farm are out of jail tonight as the DEQ wraps up it's investigation into hazardous materials being kept on the property.

The story first broke on Wednesday at the farm on Ostrum Road in Orleans Township. That's just east of Belding.

Federal and State agencies confirmed that some materials were on the property, but wouldn't go into detail on what exactly they found, or what kind they were.

The owner of the property, 79 year old Jerry Gallagher, and his daughter were arrested yesterday, but were let go today with no charges filed. Although the investigation on site has concluded, officials say the investigation into the incident is on-going at this time.

The 4,500 acre farm sells wholesale chemicals like fertilizer.
