For any high school athlete, their senior year is something to look forward to. But for one basketball player in Three Rivers, her dream was nearly taken away.

Carley Cottingham loves basketball. She comes from a basketball family. She joined the Three Rivers Varsity team as a freshman. She led the Wildcats in scoring as a junior. But in August 2009, her dreams of a senior season seemed very much in doubt, all because of a couple extra ribs.
