ADA TOWNSHIP—
An 81-year-old Ada man is hospitalized in critical condition after being involved in a one-car rollover early Saturday.The incident occurred at 12:25 a.m. in front of 409 Pettis Avenue in Ada Township. Frank Bader Renegar, 81, of Ada was driving a 2004 Chrysler Township southeast on Pettis near Honey Creek when he failed to maneuver a curve and the vehicle left the roadway, struck a building and rolled over several times.
Renegar was wearing a seat belt, was removed from the car by members of the Ada Fire Department and was transported by AMR Ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids where he was listed in critical condition.
Deputies said alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
