NEWAYGO -
A 44-year-old man died in a traffic accident in Newaygo on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Newaygo Police Department, officers responded to a report of a traffic crash at the intersection of M-37 and Brooks Street at 3:45 p.m. LIFE paramedics treated the involved motorists and the 44-year-old man later was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Michigan State Police Newaygo post, LIFE EMS paramedics, the Newaygo Fire Department and the Newaygo First Responders assisted at the scene.
No further information is being released. The crash remains under investigation by Newaygo police.
