Internships
FOX 17 offers internship opportunities for college undergraduates and graduate students. Because internships are hands-on learning experiences, scholastic credit is required. No monetary compensation will be paid. FOX 17 offers hands-on training internships in;

News - Including assisting with electronic news gathering (ENG and SNG), assignment desk duties and observing and participating with news anchors, reporters and photographers
Sports - Including electronic news gathering (ENG and SNG), watching and logging sporting events, writing and editing sports footage and stories, and observing and participating with sports anchors and photographers
Sales - Research, proposal development and presentation, and developing and servicing advertising clients
 
Internship requirements include:
Scholastic credit
GPA of at least 2.5
Completion of Internship Agreement Form
Completion of Internship Program Waiver and
Release Form
Mid- and End-Term evaluations
Submission of experiential summary at end of internship
Strong verbal and written communication skills
General understanding of television broadcasting
